Managing Caregiver Fatigue

Not for profit support agency who booked a Managing Caregiver Fatigue Workshop to help train and support their staff.

The training stressed the development of more effectual competencies – resilience, teamwork, collaboration, communication, problem solving as well as techniques to maintain their own health and wellbeing.

Managing Caregiver Fatigue with Mindfulness & Compassion

Caring can be very rewarding but also overwhelming for carers who don’t include themselves in their circle of kindness.

This workshop teaches participants Mindfulness skills so they can be more aware of  their own filters and biases and ‘see more clearly’. There is also a strong focus on developing self compassion so participants learn to ‘put on their own oxygen mask’ and other Mindfulness and Compassion techniques to support themselves particularly in challenging times.

When carers continually replenish themselves, they maintain wellness and avoid depletion and burn out.
