A support service serving intellectual disability wanted to give their leadership team a one day workshop to learn the skills of self compassion and inner resilience.
Given the challenging work that they do everyday, it is easy to move into caregiver fatigue and burnout.
This all day workshop taught this team self compassion strategies so that they would have the tools to support and replenish themselves on an ongoing basis.
Feedback from all of the team was very positive. They recognised the vital importance of nurturing these habits, so they could remain open hearted and balanced.
