 Are you stressed? Here are 10 Mindfulness Stress Busting Tips that encourage habits that lead to better outcomes and more wellbeing.

If you are noticing that you are stressed and overwhelmed on a regular basis, remember the formula: E + R = O

(Event + Reaction/Response determines Outcome) so, it makes sense to  focus on what you can control… yourself.

You may not be able to change the Event (often outside your control), but if you ‘catch’ yourself, you can change how you Respond. When you ‘react’, you behave as a victim of circumstance.
When you breath and self calm, you manage your negative emotional state (whether it is anger, tension, frustration, upset), you are then able to choose a positive Response to improve the Outcome, eg… what would be most helpful now? And maintain perspective…

As Viktor E. Frankl says in Man’s search for meaning:
“Between stimulus and response, there is space. In that space is our power to choose
our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.”
